Faltering Self By R. Cary

Faltering Self

By R. Cary

Confusion resists my abolition of my slavery

A condemned mind rotting into temptation

Mental strength withering in this deception

I surmise against my strength my duty persists

My heart to rise discouragement abandoned

Fatigued monotony obscuring but faulting

Intentions of pursual my courage enlightens

Facing intrepidity, abolishment I will pronounce

In congregation of unity of my lessened self

My most pure self from depletion I have gained

Released from my exposure allured ascribed

A unison accepted of failure and falter as light

Born as my journey began my frailty exposed

Into acceptance vulnerability is now my growth

End

Faltering Self
