My Favorite Place By R. Cary

My Favorite Place

By R. Cary

My favorite place cannot be seen, touch, felt

It can only be conceived and unperceived

It cannot be smelled or heard

It can only be conjured and unrealized

As a process of learning and unlearning

What exists in our minds may never end

At times never truly shown

But my favorite place, its ever intangibility

Is my guiding light, my witness of perception

My window not only to this world but the next

How I only truly know I exist

That we exist

My favorite place, my mind's eye

My deliverance of the unknown

I can see it now, I am in it now

And I wonder what this place is called

As I further enter my wonderful imagination

End

My Favorite Place
